Spring Mantel

Hello there friends! I hope you are doing well and are enjoying some beautiful spring weather where you live. Today was a great day for my daughter and I, we were able to go on a walk and play outside. We even went on a hunt for the Easter bunny. Actually, we have a sweet little bunny who made a nest under one of our pine trees. Every now and then we can see the bunny hiding out under the tree and my daughter is loving it. She is convinced that it is the Easter bunny! Anyway, speaking of the Easter bunny I think my mantel is already for the Easter bunny's visit. 

I got these twigs from a tree that we had to cut down last year.  I hot glued some eggs on to the twigs and put them in this old coffee pot. 

I have had these Mason jars forever and I found this little bunny at Goodwill!

The bicycle came from Hobby Lobby a few years back and I found the yellow bird at a garage sale. He is one of my favorite things to bring out each spring. 

My chalkboard isn't perfect but I love it! I usually use my chalkboard lettering method but did not have any ink in my printer. 

 

I like the birds from The Lily Pad Cottage 's Easter chalkboard last year and knew I had to try to draw one myself. It's not as good as Kelly's but I think he is still sweet.

We will be spending our Easter weekend with family and friends! The weather is also supposed to be nice which will be perfect for Easter egg hunts. Do you have any plans for the weekend? I hope you are able to get time to relax and enjoy the weekend.
