Weekend Update!

I was so bummed on Saturday because it rained all day and I couldn't get out to very many garage sales.  Luckily, Goodwill was having another 50% off sale. I can always depend on Goodwill to help me with my addiction.  I didn't find too many things but I was able to find a few.  I was also able to visit some of my favorite thrift shops!

I got these wooden candlesticks for $.50 a piece.  I was able to find another coke bottle for $1.00.  My mom gave me this cart. Gotta love free! I am thinking about using it as a mobile island in my kitchen.  The leaf tray was also only a $1.00, I will be using it for my fall decorations. 



 I got this iron grate for $4.00 at one of my favorite thrift stores.  I love the design of it!


I am a fool for frames!  Again, this picture and frame only cost $1.00. I will show you tomorrow what I did with it.

    Hey, You're not alone ~ I'm also a thrift shop, garage sale, bartering junkie. Just today we picked up an antique cast iron 'decorative' wood stove that I found on craigslist for a super dooper price. I will post it at a later date. Gotta love a good deal :)

    The cart your mom gave you is great. Will you leave it as is or paint it? The old great is pretty cool too. Surprised you found it at a thrift store. We never have stuff like that at ours.

    Love your finds! I have a cart similr to that one and I love it! I paid 3 dollars for mine though at a gatrage sale! haha!
    The garage sales are coming to an end this year. sniff sniff!

    You did good! I'm a Goodwill fan too. I always find goodies. I have a hard time passing up frames. I just did a post about a card I bought at Dollar Gen'l and placed in a little vintage frame I found this week-end.

    Love the cart and the candlesticks. On the last Wednesday of every month, Volunteers of America has 50% off in the entire store!! I live for that sale!!
