New Use for an Old Bottle

I have always dis-liked the plastic dish soap bottles. They really are an eye sore for me and I have spent years hiding them under my kitchen sink.  I saw this old bottle at a thrift store and a light bulb went off in my head.  I thought it would be so cool sitting on my sink rather than the plastic bottle.  The bottle cost $3.00 and I used the top off an oil bottle that I got at the dollar tree.

I am going to buy yellow soap after I run out of the green to make it look like actual lemonade.  Dishes are not fun to do but at least this makes it a little better!

  1. What a great idea! My icky soap dispenser is out as much as under my sink and I hate the way it looks. This is my kind of dish soap - fashionable.

  4. Hi Melissa!!!

Wow girl, you have a beautiful blog...full of fun inspiration and awesome ideas!!!
I'm in love with your "Mason Jar" post and I totally want to try those fork hooks!

I'm so happy you found me and stopped by to leave me a sweet comment.

You know, it's okay to sometimes feel overwhelmed or lost...or maybe even feeling "blank" about posting. Just remember Melissa, this blog is for YOU. It should be YOUR therapy :) When it becomes a job...it's not fun anymore so don't ever let that happen okay??? ;)

I see you just started this month. Don't be discouraged, you have some GREAT posts with GREAT ideas. Remember that Rome wasn't built in a day and you have MILLIONS of bloggers out there who would love to meet you...so go out and mingle! ;) You are going to meet some wonderful friends of whom you will have lots in common with...it's like meeting your long lost twins!!!

This world is HUGE but you are NEVER lost...you are just not "found" yet by those who love you (and don't even know it yet) tee hee!

    Chin up...keep calm...and blog!
Write and visit...and they shall come.

FYI...For my whole first year of blogging, I barely had 3 comments per post. I thought why the heck am I doing this??? Then...I realized that I was writing, creating and taking photos of the things that "I" loved and was content with taking those who wanted to come along with me. I'm satisfied with that...I don't want to expect anything more :)

I'm so happy you found me Melissa, may this be the start to a wonderful relationship!
(geez...I almost feel like I'm dating again! haha If hubs would read this...he would think "what the heck???" hahahaha)
    Have a wonderful week!!!
